GUESTS ON PLANT
The students of one of Kaliningrad schools visited the production shops of the Telebalt plant. Head of the assembly shop, Alexander Mukhin, told children in great detail about how television sets are assembled at the factory, what security requirements arise, what technologies are used, how assembly lines are set up, and how to control the correctness of all processes in the production of consumer electronics.
Children learned that some of the conveyors of the plant are universal. They allow to produce any small-sized electronics from GSM modems and memory cards to TVs of any type with a diagonal of up to 32 inches. And other lines are designed for a narrower specialization, in particular, the assembly of LCD TVs with a large diagonal - up to 60 inches.Technologists of the Telebalt plant showed children the SMD-board assembly workshop and told how high-tech board stuffing machines work. The Telebalt plant regularly conducts vocational guidance excursions for schoolchildren and students in order to interest the younger generation and in the future attract them to their high-tech production.
